S.T.A.R. (SOMERSET THERAPEUTIC ASSOCIATION FOR RIDERS)

Official Rules

            Grand Prize:

1.             All ticket sales are considered a donation.

2.             S.T.A.R.  is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization. Check with your tax advisor for deductibility.

3.             A Limited quantity of 1000 tickets will be sold..         

4.             Tickets are $10.00 each.

5.             The winning raffle ticket number will be the Official PA LotteryDaily Number drawn 7:00PM on  Sept. 29, 2007.

6.             Ticket Stubs must be received by S.T.A.R.’s  Executive Director by 6:00 pm  Sept. 15, 2007.

7.             S.T.A.R. is not responsible for the seller of these tickets returning the ticket stubs in a timely     fashion.

8.             Any individual 18 years of age or older is eligible to purchase a ticket.

9.             All unsold tickets will become the property of Somerset Therapeutic Association for Riders

10.           A minimum of 650 tickets must be sold to hold the drawing. In the event that 650 tickets are not sold, all ticket money will be refunded.

11.           In the event an unsold ticket number is drawn at 7:00PM  Sept. 29, 2007  the next days 7pm drawing will then determine the winner.
                 This procedure will continue until we have a winner.

12.           The winner will be contacted by phone using the phone number on the ticket stub. S.T.A.R. will   make every effort to notify the winner within 48 hours of the drawing.

13.           Prize must be claimed within 30 days, in the event that S.T.A.R. is unable to contact the winner or  the winner fails to claim the prize, ownership will revert back to S.T.A.R.

14.           The winner shall submit 2 forms of ID when claiming the prize.

15.           Name of the winner will be available to the media and all raffle participants at their request.

16.           The winner agrees to participate in publicity which may include but may not be  limited to,  photographs, videotaping, recordings, press interviews, etc.

17.           The winner and their heirs agree to hold harmless S.T.A.R. for any liability in relation to this raffle, expressly including liability arising out of the negligence
                  on the part of S.T.A.R. or its agents.

<>18.           The winner and their heirs will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the Steeler game and Renaissance Hotel, and will be responsible for their own
                meals.  Heinz Field is within
walking distance from the Renaissance Hotel.  Game time is at  1:00 p.m.  Check in time at the Renaissance is  4:00 p.m. on Sat. Nov. 10, 2007
                and check out time is by 12:00 noon on Mon., Nov 12, 2007.  On site parking at Renaissance is $24. daily; valet parking is $24. daily; off-site parking-contact hotel for

Prize does not include anything that is  not specifically mentioned as part of the prize in these Official Rules. It is the sponsor’s intention to award only the prize described in the Official Rules. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless S.T.A.R., prize sponsors and participants, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and production agencies from all liability regarding participation in the Raffle, the receipt and use of the prize awarded and, without limiting the generality of the above, from any injury or death while using the prize.  Prize winner waives the right to 1) to assert as a cost of winning a prize any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem that prize and 2) any liability claim  prize winner agrees to release S.T.A.R. and their affiliates from any and all liability, which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating, and   /or traveling to/from any prize-related activity.

19.           All proceeds benefit S.T.A.R..
